After about a year or so of frustrating phone calls, insane email and alot of swearing (mostly me) the Ubuntu Forums now have a Forum Council team and some established credibility in the community. Well, I hope it works out that way.
The Forum Council document was approved last week at the CC meeting.
Things we have established so far:
- We will hold meetings the second Tuesday of each month
- We need to find a secretary/note taker for the meetings
- A working forum governance policy
- Forums for discussion on topics to be discussed at future FC meetings.
I am eager to see how this process will play itself out and how it will be interpreted in the future.
